The ministry to the sick and homebound includes home visits, the distribution of Holy Communion to those in hospitals, care centers and nursing homes and the celebration by a priest of the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
Members of our parish bring the Church to people who cannot physically come to church. They bring the comfort of Christ. In this way the sick and homebound are united to the Body of Christ present in our community.
This parish ministry is vibrant, growing and blessed to have volunteers who visit the sick and homebound. If you feel a call to visit the sick, we would love to have your help. Developing a lasting relationship with those who desire to remain a part of the Church is a rewarding and generous way to be involved. Please contact the parish office if you would like to help. Call the parish office also if you or a loved one wishes to be visited and /or receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
